Hulting Consulting LLC
Karen Hulting is a statistician, coach, and teacher. Across 30+ years in the medical device and automotive industries, she has applied a broad range of statistical methods in manufacturing, R&D, and quality. Karen holds masters and PhD degrees in Statistics from Iowa State University and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from St. Olaf College. She is a Fellow of the ASQ and an adjunct instructor in the St. Cloud State University graduate program in Medical Technology Quality.

Brian Sheff
Solutions Architect
Brian is a Solutions Architect at Minitab, where he is responsible for supporting a variety of sales engagements in analytics and modernization. Brian works with customers to gain insights into their data and processes using Minitab. Brian has over 20 years of experience as a Public Health consultant working with the U.S Department of Health & Human Services, Indian Health Service and other departments. He also has over 13 years of experience working at different statistical software companies. Brian holds an M.S. in Biostatistics from the University of North Carolina and a bachelor’s degree in Applied Statistics from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Jim Oskins
Solutions Architect
Jim Oskins is a solutions architect at Minitab, where he works with businesses and technical staff to recommend solutions that result in more effective systems. Jim has over 15 years of experience in the industry using Lean & Six Sigma. He also has over 10 years of experience leading Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement as a Black Master Belt. Jim obtained his masters in engineering from the University of Michigan while working full time in the automotive industry in Michigan. Jim also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in Electrical & Computer Engineering.
Tom Williams
Senior Solutions Engineer - Team Lead
Tom Williams is a Solutions Engineer at Minitab, where he supports the commercial sales teams in the Americas through specialized presentations tailored to helping Minitab customers gain insights utilizing Minitab solutions. Prior to Minitab, Tom has leveraged data to help drive decision making and solve problems in roles with GE Healthcare, IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions, and Penn State Wrestling. Areas of interest and expertise include predictive analytics, design of experiments, statistical process control, visualizing data, Six Sigma, and Monte Carlo simulation. Tom holds a bachelor’s degree in applied statistics and a minor in economics from Penn State University and he is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
